You use this page
to upload a recording of your name. When a call is connected
to your extension by the Auto Attendant or to Voice
Messaging, your name is announced to the caller. Your
personalized name can also be recorded or deleted using
your telephone through the voice portal.
Steps
Details
1.
Activate or deactivate the service
Check
the box to use a personalized name recording with
Auto Attendant and Voice Messaging.

2. If this service
has been turned on, load the file with your recorded
name
If you already
have recorded a name announcement, type the full
path name in the Load Name text box, or click
Browse to locate it. If you need help recording
your own announcement, click here
to record a personal greeting via your PC.

3. Or, you can use
your phone to record your announcement
Use your phone
to record your announcement.
Dial the voice portal phone number and provide
your extension and/or passcode when prompted.
Follow the instructions for name recording.

4. Save your changes
Click Apply
or OK. Apply saves your changes. OK saves
your changes and displays the previous page.
To exit without saving, select another page or
click Cancel to display the previous page.
