I have downloaded a program that reads TIFF files, but I still can't see my fax mail messages?

Once you have installed a program that will read TIFF Files, you may need to 'associate' the program as your default TIFF reader.  The following operating systems (Windows XP, 2000, ME) can do the following:

  • Click on the START Button
     
  • Select RUN
     
  • Enter explorer.exe
     
  • Select Tools from your tool bar
     
  • Select Folder Options
     
  • Click on the Folder Types tab
     
  • Highlight TIF in the Registered File Types portion of the screen
     
  • Details for TIF extension should be one of the following: Microsoft Office Document Imaging, Windows Picture & Fax Viewer, IRfanview, or AlternaTIFF.

IF NOT

  • Select Change and the appropriate file type for your viewer.
